Pull ARM SoC cleanups from Arnd Bergmann:
"This contains cleanups as preparation for other branches adding new
features, we pulled 16 branches for 9 platforms into this one.
Most notable here is the removal of support for ATAGS based OMAP4
systems. Since all OMAP4 machines are fully functional with DT based
booting in 3.10, we can remove a lot of code here.
Also noteworthy is Maxime Ripard's cleanup of the machine descriptors,
which means we need no machine descriptors in a lot more cases and can
boot additional machines by just having the respective device drivers
enabled."

Use devm_ioremap_resource and devm_kzalloc to simplify error
paths and reduce lines of code. Also use dev_err() to keep
consistency and drop the .remove function because the devm
functions take care of what it's doing besides the now obsolete
platform_set_drvdata() which we can just drop. Finally, use
module_platform_driver() to save some more lines.

This cleans up the gpio-msm-v2 driver of all the global define usage.
The number of gpios are now defined in the device tree. This enables
adding irqdomain support as well.

In order to clean message printing, we replace pr_info with pr_fmt.
This is purely cosmetic change, with the sole purpose of making
the code a bit more readable.

This function can be used to parse the device and function number from a
standard 5-cell PCI resource. PCI_SLOT() and PCI_FUNC() can be used on
the returned value obtain the device and function numbers respectively.

This patch factors out common implementation patterns to reduce overall kernel
code and provide a means for host bridge drivers to directly obtain struct
resources from the DT's ranges property without relying on architecture specific
DT handling. This will make it easier to write archiecture independent host bridge
drivers and mitigate against further duplication of DT parsing code.
This patch can be used in the following way:

I got a build error today that made me realize that it is not
possible to build a kernel for a SiRF platform without enabling
CONFIG_PRIMA2, since a lot of common code depends on CONFIG_PRIMA2.
This fixes all occurences that appear like common SiRF code.

The CLOCKSOURCE_OF_DECLARE functions now take a device_node pointer
as their argument, as of the clksrc/cleanup branch in arm-soc.
This patch adapts the bcm_kona_timer driver to the new interface.

The omap2 nand device driver calls into the the elm code, which can
be a loadable module, and in that case it cannot be built-in itself.
I can see no reason why the omap2 driver cannot also be a module,
so let's make the option "tristate" in Kconfig to fix this allmodconfig
build error:

Some drivers can be built on more platforms than they run on. This is
a burden for users and distributors who package a kernel. They have to
manually deselect some (for them useless) drivers when updating their
configs via oldconfig. And yet, sometimes it is even impossible to
disable the drivers without patching the kernel.
Introduce a new config option COMPILE_TEST and make all those drivers
to depend on the platform they run on, or on the COMPILE_TEST option.
Now, when users/distributors choose COMPILE_TEST=n they will not have
the drivers in their allmodconfig setups, but developers still can
compile-test them with COMPILE_TEST=y.
Now the drivers where we use this new option:
* PTP_1588_CLOCK_PCH: The PCH EG20T is only compatible with Intel Atom
processors so it should depend on x86.
* FB_GEODE: Geode is 32-bit only so only enable it for X86_32.
* USB_CHIPIDEA_IMX: The OF_DEVICE dependency will be met on powerpc
systems -- which do not actually support the hardware via that
method.
* INTEL_MID_PTI: It is specific to the Penwell type of Intel Atom
device.

Update the sysfs memory code to create/delete files at the time of device
and subsystem registration.
The current code creates files in the root memory directory explicitly through
the use of init_* routines. The files for each memory block are created and
deleted explicitly using the mem_[create|delete]_simple_file macros.
This patch creates attribute groups for the memory root files and files in
each memory block directory so that they are created and deleted implicitly
at subsys and device register and unregister time.
This did necessitate moving the register_memory() updating it to set the
dev.groups field.

This patch kills the firmware loading requests of FW_ACTION_NOHOTPLUG
before suspend to avoid blocking suspend because there is no timeout
for these requests.

Generally there are only two drivers which don't need uevent to
handle firmware loading, so don't cache these firmwares during
suspend for these drivers since doing that may block firmware
loading forever.
Both the two drivers are involved in private firmware images, so
they don't hit in direct loading too.

I found a lot of mistakes using struct platform_driver without owner
so I make a macro instead of the function platform_driver_register.
It can set owner in it, then guys don`t care about module owner again.
