* event: Use an event to replace last_stage_init()WIP/2023-08-31-replace-more-init-hooks-with-eventsSimon Glass2023-08-311-1/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Add a new event which handles this function. Convert existing use of the function to use the new event instead. Make sure that EVENT is enabled by affected boards, by selecting it from the LAST_STAGE_INIT option. For x86, enable it by default since all boards need it. For controlcenterdc, inline the get_tpm() function and make sure the event is not built in SPL. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* MAINTAINERS: Add a number of "common" directoriesTom Rini2023-07-251-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | A number of platforms have "common" directories that are in turn not listed by the board MAINTAINERS file. Add these directories in many cases. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* global: Move remaining CONFIG_SYS_* to CFG_SYS_*Tom Rini2022-12-051-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | The rest of the unmigrated CONFIG symbols in the CONFIG_SYS namespace do not easily transition to Kconfig. In many cases they likely should come from the device tree instead. Move these out of CONFIG namespace and in to CFG namespace. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>

* sandbox: Remove OF_HOSTFILEWIP/27Oct2021Ilias Apalodimas2021-10-271-1/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | OF_HOSTFILE is used on sandbox configs only. Although it's pretty unique and not causing any confusions, we are better of having simpler config options for the DTB. So let's replace that with the existing OF_BOARD. U-Boot would then have only three config options for the DTB origin. - OF_SEPARATE, build separately from U-Boot - OF_BOARD, board specific way of providing the DTB - OF_EMBED embedded in the u-boot binary(should not be used in production Signed-off-by: Ilias Apalodimas <ilias.apalodimas@linaro.org> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* ppc: qemu: Create a virtual memory mapping of the platform busBin Meng2021-04-152-0/+35
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | QEMU ppce500 target can dynamically instantiate an eTSEC device on a platform bus if "-device eTSEC" is given to QEMU. It is presented as a "simple-bus" in the device tree, with an additional compatible string "qemu,platform". Let's create a virtual memory mapping for it in misc_init_r(), in preparation to adding eTSEC support.
